It seems that Attica region is turned into a new Idomeni camp with the number of stranded refugees reaching 13,592. The situation in the largest port of Greece is tragic, since more than 4,954 people are packed at passenger terminals, with women and children being forced to sleep on the floor.

On Friday morning, Ariadne ferry arrived at Piraeus port carrying 638 immigrants and refugees from Chios and Mytilene, while Blue star 2 is expected to arrive within the day carrying 84 people from Leros and Kos.

Greek authorities have sent buses at the port in order to transfer the refugees and immigrants to refugee centers at Ioannina, but the people refuse to be transferred since they fear that they will be sent to places from where they will not be able to leave.
