Panayiotis Mavrikos probably not able to react when his car burst into flames

Evidence shows that he had probably enough time to get out of the car from the passenger seat

New evidence on the case of publisher Panayiotis Mavrikos, who was burnt alive when his car burst into flames, was brought to light after the investigation conducted by experts.

According to information, Mavrikos was probably not able to react at the moment of the car accident, which will be confirmed by the histopathology test results.

Moreover, experts cannot confirm if he was wearing a seat belt, or if he had secure it behind his back so as to prevent the seat belt alarm from ringing. According to recent data, authorities believe that probably there was no foul play in the death of Mavrikos, although investigation is still in progress.

Authorities are also examining another element concerning a piece of glass of the front passenger door which had no traces of smoke. This evidence shows that Mavrikos had probably enough time to get out of the car from the passenger seat.
