Children go out in groups and sing carols door-to-door. They ask: “Na ta poume?” (“Shall we say them?”) If the homeowner says “yes” the children sing the carols and are offered money and/or holiday treats. The tradition of kalanda (carol) singing also takes place on New Year’s Eve and during the Epiphany.
