Hydra is a Saronic Island located between the Saronic Gulf and the Argolic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. The name, Hydraea, is a reference to the island’ssprings. Hydra port is a crescent-shaped harbor with a strand of restaurants, shops and galleries. The island has no cars or motorcycles with donkeys and water taxis providing public transportation.
