The newly reconstructed beachfront of Thessaloniki, at the foot of the White Tower, is a great place to walk, cycle and relax right in the city center. The walk is dotted with cafe spots, ice cream vendors and a lot of extra happenings giving it a festive touch. Highlights include the umbrella sculpture by George Zongolopoulos.
