Ialysos is one of the three ancient cities of Rhodes with remains of dating as far back as the 3rd millennium BC and settlements & cemeteries from the Mycenaean-Minoan period.
The building remains of ancient Ialysos are mainly found on the Filerimos hill, which was given its name during the Byzantine era
