Lovely, Greek-American brunette beauty Despina Mirou has officially engaged former Pink Floyd member Scott Page. The event took place in secrecy in Los Angeles. The couple’s best man was another rock legend, Doors guitarist Robby Krieger.
The engagement took place in a very close circle, at the rock star’s villa in Los Angeles with many VIPs invited, including famous musicians such as members of Doors and Led Zeppelin and actresses friends of Despina such as Lainie Kazan and Renne Taylor who co-star in her new film “Tango Shalom”.
Knowing her weakness for black diamonds, Scott chose an engagement ring called “eternal beloved” and it is a polygonal black diamond tied with white gold framed by small white diamonds. “Black diamonds are as rare in nature as you are,” Scott told her tenderly.
Shortly after the engagement, the couple attended a cosmopolitan event of their friend Jeffrey Gund, CEO of the big event company in Los Angeles, and received congratulations from those present.
The couple has been in a relationship for the last four years. They met many years ago when Despina Moirou was still doing stand-up at Johnny Depp’s club, in the Viper Room. The actress often makes dedications to her lover through social media. A few days ago, she dedicated a poem written in Greek to his personal Facebook account. Specifically, she wrote:
“Our love contains the passion of all the galaxies of the universe. That are trapped together and tied to space-time from the beginning of its creation. Our love is above Adam and Eve, we were the first to fall in love in the universe, before them. Our love is made from materials of a primitive epic. That no one will ever (ever) be able to explore, to experience, to feel. Apart from the universe itself, it gave birth to us together and was the only witness to our love. Despina Moirou. To Scott.”
Despina is an established actress, writer, and Stand-Up comedian. She began her dynamic career as a child actor, and she received two writing awards as a writer when she was 13 years old. She is known for her performances across genres. The Greek actress the last 6 years moved to the USA, she became an American citizen, and she received many awards from the USA and Europe.
