Piraeus: One dead from the collapse of a building section in Pasalimani (video-photos)

Three workers were lightly injured by debris that fell during the collapse

The collapse of a building section in Piraeus earlier this morning had a tragic outcome as the latest information speaks of one fatality.

According to police sources, the deceased is 31 years old, and according to the same information, he served in the Hellenic Police.

The building that collapsed is located on Neorion Street in Pasalimani, and according to information from the fire department, work was being carried out there.

The information indicates that a total of nine workers were present in the building at the time of the collapse, with three of them sustaining minor injuries from the debris caused by the collapse.

At the scene, there are 24 firefighters with eight vehicles and a search and rescue dog.
