A poll by the University of Macedonia conducted between September 11 and September 15 for Skai TV show that the main opposition party has gained ground. People questioned put the main opposition Coalition of the Left (SYRIZA) party ahead of the conservative New Democracy (ND) ruling party by 6%.

Specifically:

SYRIZA -24%

New Democracy – 18%

Golden Dawn -6.5%

Elia – 5.5%

Potami – 5.5%

Communist Party of Greece (KKE) – 5.5%

Independent Greeks (ANEL) – 3%
