POTAMI urges govt to stop 'playing with fire' in relations with Europe

Potami refers directly to the so-called ‘drachma lobby’ in Greece

Centrist Potami party on Saturday urged the SYRIZA government to “to stop playing with fire” by clashing with practically every European partner instead of dealing with the country’s legitimate problems.

Potami took aim at hardline leftist Minister Lafazanis, who a day earlier referred to a “collision” with partners in the EU and the Eurozone. The small opposition party also called on PM Alexis Tsipras to bring his ministers into line, instead of appeasing groupings within SYRIZA and, more ominously, the so-called “drachma lobby”.
