Reducing unit labor costs in order to improve Greece’s economic competitiveness and further reducing minimum wage to be in line with the respective salaries in Eastern Europe are mentioned as a key policy priority in the IMF’s agreement document, as it is revealed.

These are the prior actions required so as Greece could secure IMF’s participation in the Greek program and they should be implemented by the end of December 2016.
