Artist Maria Simchuk showcased her ‘Erotic vandalism’ art, which shows pictures and videos of sexual acts with monuments. The exhibition presents photos and videos. The female artist from Yalta practiced her actions in the dark. ‘I wanted to brighten up the monuments and love, because they are often out of our view, including sexual. These monuments are so beautiful that you forget about everything,’ commented Simchuk on her controversial project. ‘Erotic vandalism’ is scheduled to last until July 27. The entrance to it is free. The Russian communist party reacted to the incident calling Simchuk mentally unstable.
