Ryanair flight from Poland warned of bomb – It landed & was evacuated (Upd.2)

The Boeing 737 with 192 passengers landed in “Eleftherios Venizelos” Airport of Athens

UPDATE 2: Nothing suspicious was found in the airplane.

UPDATE: The passenger plane has landed and it has been evacuated safely.

Hellenic Police Bomb Squad specialists are searching the airplane.

A bomb alert was sent by a passenger plane, a Ryanair Boeing 737 with 192 people on board, from Katowice, Poland, bound for Athens.

Due to the bomb threat, the plane is escorted by F-16 fighters, while special forces also go to Eleftherios Venizelos airport, where the plane is headed.

Hungarian fighter jets had also taken off, and the Boeing is currently heading for Athens, flying over sea space. It will continue over the sea, as per protocol, and land at its final destination.

There is a special area at the airport where the plane will go when it lands.
