State Minister Pappas: Referendum a test for Europe

No word from Europe if it considers itself being ‘tested’ in referendum called by SYRIZA

State Minister Nikos Pappas said the aim of the government was to reach an agreement with the country’s partners. He underlined that the question at stake in the Sunday referendum is whether Greek citizens believe the memorandums implemented were a success story or a failure.
Pappas said this was a test for Europe and its character and whether it will continue to respect commonly agreed upon rules and democracy.

He also expressed a hope for calmn to return to the financial affairs of Greece and the everyday life of the Greek people.
