Taxisnet submission extension until after March 31

The extension is to give companies and organizations due time to electronically file their submissions as they had not been adequately informed of their obligations

Taxisnet, the electronic platform of the Greek finance ministry, will continue to accept annual employee income certificate data by companies, social insurance funds and state organizations after the March 31 deadline. The decision to extend the deadline was announced by General Secretary for Public Revenues Katerina Savvaidou who said that it was given because the organizations obliged to make electronic submissions had not been adequately informed pending the publication of the decision in the government gazette.

More time is being given so that the organizations can be fully prepared to electronically submit data, especially considering the numerous changes made by a 2013 law. Hence, the platform will remain open for the submission of data after the March 31, 2015 deadline and until the final deadline for submitting tax return forms for 2014, or any legal extension of this date.
