The ‘Oscars of the Travel Industry’ ceremony was held in Greece

The evening was hosted by Greek celebrity presenters Thodoris Koutsogianopoulos and Mary Sinatsaki

The World Travel Awards ceremony was held this year at a luxurious hotel in Kavouri, Greece.

The glamorous event was held for the first time in Greece and was attended by representatives of major tourism businesses and organizations worldwide as well as many representatives of the international media.

World Travel Awards celebrated its 21st anniversary in 2014 with a glamorous event, hosted by Mary Sinatsaki and Thodoris Koutsogianopoulos.

Acropolis, Corfu, Aegean Airlines, the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso hotels, the Grand Resort Lagonissi, the Costa Navarino and Porto Zante Villas were among the winners of the “Travel Industry Oscars”, based on the travel agents’ vote and won awards in various categories of World Travel Awards Europe 2014.

The stellar line up of entertainment featured Greek pop-rock sensation Onirama and a performance from the Dora Stratou Greek Dancers.
