The Pope "unravels" the head of the Vatican Bank due to reduced profitability

Pope Francis is contemplating on the replacement of the Vatican’s Board of the Bank, since a year after its reorganization after the financial corruption scandal that rocked the Catholic Church, the figures are alarming. The profits have been reduced by 97%.

Cardinal George Pell stated that: “With the help of God and of the Council of Cardinals, we created simpler and more effective structures for those serving in the mission of the Catholic Church” .

The net income of the bank bloomed to 2.9 million last year, compared with 86.6 million euro in 2012.
