Instability around the globe, and especially in the wider Middle East region has resulted in the rapid increase of refugees fleeing the war torn areas affected and seeking a safer future for them and their children.
This world migration crisis has led an American real estate magnate from California to propose a novel idea to to solve the problem. Jason Buzi believes he could contribute to the solution of the problem by setting up a new country just for the 60 million or so displaced people.
He told the Washington Post that h envisions the “Refugee Nation” as an open, tolerant, multi-cultural place where jobs would be creates by altruistic foreign investors and large-scale infrastructure projects.
