An immediate mobilization by the special force of the fire department in the village of Styrfaka in Lamia, rescued storks who had become entangled in electricity cables.

In particular, after members of the Styrfakas Cultural Association alerted the fire department and officers rushed with aerial fire vehicle which with the help of PPC officers as well managed to extricate the storks whose legs were entangled in small wires protruding below the nest.

The Cultural Association board thanked all those who helped to rescue the storks.
