Ukrainian feminist protest group Femen staged a demonstration at St. Peter’s Square after Pope Francis’ Christmas address on Thursday. Topless Inna Shevchenko managed to kidnap a newborn baby from the vatican. She had “God is Woman” written in paint across her chest.

Fellow activist Alexandra Shevchenko said that the stunt was part of a wider protest also taking part in other places. “This is a day of action for Christmas against the Catholic Church that says women don’t have rights to have an abortion,” she said. “Our body is our right and our ownership and we should decide what we do with it; not the church, men or doctors.”
