A train collision occurred on Tuesday morning, at around 08:15, at Rouf suburban rail station.
According to TRAINOSE, the railway company in Greece which currently operates all passenger and freight trains on OSE lines, there were no injuries from the head-on collision.
The accident, which is attributed to human mistake, happened when a train with 15 passengers carrying out the Halkida-Piraeus itinerary collided with an empty train that was stationed at Rouf and was scheduled to depart for Kalambaka.
