Meral Aksener, who was at the offices of the Good Party, reportedly suffered a nervous breakdown, watching the results while opposition officials were announcing that Erdogan was ahead of Kilicdaroglu.
According to the pro-government newspaper Yeni Safak, Meral Aksener broke a window, started shouting “Didn’t I tell you we can’t win?” and allegedly slapped a police officer.
According to the same publication, there was also a video of the incident, but the material was deleted, at the request of party members. It is also reported that strong police forces were sent to the scene and the situation turned chaotic. It is recalled that Aksener participates in the coalition of parties under Kilicdaroglu.
Later on Sunday night, she uploaded a tweet saying that she is fine and is watching the election results. In fact, she noted, “we are winning”…
