Turkish Interior Minister spreads fake news again: “Greece drowns immigrants in the Aegean”

New fake news from The Turkish Minister of Interior Suleyman Soylu is provocatively spreading fake news against Greece again, claiming in a post on social media that the Greek Coast Guard was “drowning” immigrants in the Aegean Sea.

Soylou claims that men of the Hellenic Coast Guard threw into the sea ​​three immigrants who tried to cross illegally to Greece, from the Turkish coast.

He also posted a video with a foreigner – with his face hidden – who claims that he was thrown into the sea by Greeks.

The Turkish Minister of Interior comments provocatively, taking aim against Greece, the EU, and Frontex: “Barbarism, cruelty… The Greek Coast Guard threw three migrants into the sea off the Karaanda-Cesme area.
