Turkish military UAV violates Greek airspace 16 times

The Turkish Air Force carried out a series of new violations of the Greek national airspace on Tuesday, as 4 Turkish F-16 fighter jets, a CN 235 spy, and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flew over the Aegean, a total of 16 violations.

In addition, there were five infringements of air traffic rules in the Athens FIR. The Turkish aircraft flew over the Northeast, Central, and Southeast Aegean.

According to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, in accordance with established practice.
