Venizelos: Appalled by Henning’s murder

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister expressed our county’s deepest condolences, to the family of the victim who was killed by the Islamic State

Mr. Evangelos Venizelos expressed Greece’s outrage on the murder of the British Alan Henning

At the same time he expressed our county’s deepest condolences, to the family of the victim who was killed by the Islamic State.

“The gruesome murder of the British citizen Alan Henning by the so-called “Islamic Caliphate “is another senseless act of brutality and another heinous crime of this terrorist organization against innocent citizens and civilians.

We express our deepest condolences to the family of the victim but also to the citizens of Great Britain and our solidarity to all people and communities of the region tested by the unusual and primitive status of the so-called “Islamic State.”

Mr. Venizelos concluded by stating that :“Acts like this reinforces the will of Greece and  the international community, to do what is necessary to bring the perpetrators to justice and to eliminate the threat posed by the so-called “Islamic state “for peace and prosperity in the region.”
