Voridis invited Karatzaferis to return to New Democracy

“I will do whatever I can so that Mr. Tsipras will not govern the country” said the president of LAOS

Minister of Health and MP of New Democracy Makis Voridis invited the leader of right-wing party LAOS Giorgos Karatzaferis to return to New Democracy.

Mr. Karatzaferis did not rule out the possibility and said “I heard what Mr. Voridis said and I will do whatever I can so that Mr. Tsipras will not govern the country”.

Makis Voridis spoke at MEGA TV channel and said that “Now that a broader discussion begins on how Greece will move on, it is obvious that all these that have separated people who normally belong to the same ideological and political camp stop existing”.

As for the cooperation with Giorgos Karatzaferis, he stressed that “the political choices will be made by the president of the party because he will be the one who will handle political issues”.

“But I would say that no one can exclude anyone now since we agree on specific issues. And since you have asked me personal questions, I can say that I have a personal relationship with Giorgos Karatzaferis as he is the godfather of my son” said Mr, Voridis.

Giorgos Karatzaferis, according to MEGA TV channel, did not rule out the possibility by saying that “I heard what Mr. Voridis said and I will do whatever I can so that Mr. Tsipras will not govern the country”, stressing that this scenario would be catastrophic for the country.
