People have always been fascinated with futuristic technologies and high tech weaponry, often seen in sci-fi movies. Some of the images released by the Royal British Navy of a new model warship still in its design phase certainly fit the bill of a futuristic weapon, as it is being dubbed ‘the warship of the future’. The ‘Dreadnought 2050’, as it called, will allow the commander to lock on targets from the command center from thousands of kilometers away! The engineers working on the prototype estimate 50-member crew will be needed to operate the vessel, compared to the 200+ crews needed for the current warships!
