Italians are casting their ballots today

Newsroom September 25 03:57

Italians are casting their ballots today, Sunday for the country’s national elections, with the Brothers of Italy party led by Giorgia Meloni right-wing formation predicted to win. Greek conservative right political figure Aphrodite Latinopoulou uploaded a video on social media, sending her wishes for a landslide victory.

Speaking fluent Italian, Latinopoulou said: “Tomorrow in neighbouring Italy, the most important elections of recent years will take place. I wish with all my heart that the right-wing formation with its fantastic programme, especially on illegal immigration and crime, to win in a landslide and to see Meloni become prime minister,” said Ms. Latinopoulou.
