Yanis Varoufakis tells the Financial Times that he is eyeing Merkel’s job!

After brushing up on his German he will run for German Chancellor before doing away with Hollande who is just a “figment of our collective imaginations”

Asked by the Financial Times to describe his ideal job, former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis said: “I would like to be Chancellor of Germany of course!” He made this comment during an interview held on the sidelines of the banking summit on Tuesday. The only thing holding Varoufakis from his dream job is the language and he admits that it would require him to “brush up” on his German.

Next, he would enact a four-point plan to boost the Eurozone economy which works similarly to the plan he had hoped would give Greece the injection it needed. He would set up a poverty fund backed by the European Central Bank and then get the European Investment Bank to go on a green energy investment spree as well as fund more tech startups and future businesses.

In typical bombastic form, Varoufakis called French President Francois Hollande a “figment of our collective imaginations.”He even got more surreal when he told Business Insider he would be tempted to vote for a Brexit, but wouldn’t in the end.
