The incident took place approximately 57 nautical miles southwest of the port of Aden in southern Yemen,” it reported.

“According to a U.S. defense official, smoke was seen emanating from a dry cargo ship flying the flag of Barbados, the True Confidence, off the southern coast of Yemen near Aden.
