390 refugees and migrants land in Greek islands in just 5 days

A total of 390 refugees and illegal migrants have landed on Greek islands of the northern Aegean Sea over the past 5 days. Samos received the bulk of the people with 157, while 131 and 101 landed on the islands of Chios and Lesvos, respectively. According to the northern Aegean Police directorate, 9,137 refugees and migrants are hosted at camps and hotspots in the islands, the majority of which are staying on organised compounds on Lesvos (3,949).
