Pirelli’s annual calendar is not just any photo calendar, it has become an institution in its own right. The careful choice of photographers and the artistic vision imbued by them in the creation of the project produces an end result that always captures the imagination. This year Pirelli decided to give the honour to renowned German photographer Peter Lindbergh, his third time to shoot the calendar, to bring his concept to life. He will have the joy of shooting some of the most famous female movie stars: Uma Thurman,  Charlotte Rampling, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Léa Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Kate Winslet, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain, Anastacia Ignatova, Penelope Cruz, Helen Mirren and Zhang Ziyi. Pirelli released some backstage images of the photo shoot to wet our appetite for the the final calendar.
