Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas in an interview with Star TV on Monday admitted that there is a possibility that Europe might close the borders although Greece meets its commitments.”
Mr. Mouzalas said that there might be some negative actions on the side of Europe during the upcoming EU Summit, which will have negative consequences for Greece.
“There will be no tragic events, but it will be a difficult issue that we will be able to address,” he explained.
Regarding joint patrols at Aegean Sea, Mr. Mouzalas said that there is no practical reason to do that that and stressed that Greece insisted that the problem should be addressed in Turkey.
