Angelina Jolie to land in Lesvos to visit the refugee camps

The Hollywood superstar to visit refugee hotspots

The arrival of American actress Angelina Jolie to Lesvos has been postponed for Wednesday at 09.00 (local), it was announced. Jolie, who acts as UNHCR’s Goodwill Ambassador, will visit the refugee camps in Moria and Kara Tepe.

The actress is expected to arrive in her own private jet and plans to spend time among the refugees, according to local news portal ‘Lesvosnews.gr’. After touching down at the ‘Odysseas Elytis’ airport she will be transported to the hotpots of Moria and Skala Sykamnias.

Jolie is scheduled to stay on the island for two days.
