The EU Defence Ministers are set to meet on August 26 in an informal meeting

The Greek Minister of National Defence, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, had a telephone conversation with his German counterpart Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer on Tuesday.

According to reports, the two Ministers discussed the security situation in the Eastern Mediterranean in light of Turkey’s ongoing illegal actions in the region, as well as the upcoming informal meeting of EU Defence Ministers scheduled to be held on August 26 in Berlin.
