A Greek student has broken the world record in the girls’ javelin throw after throwing 65.90m.
Elina Jengo from the high school of Nea Kalikratia, Chalkidiki achieved her record on Wednesday afternoon during the Panhellenic & Cypriot Classical Sports and Athletics.
The student continued her good performances as she bettered her previous record of 63.50 m, as well as her good showing in recent events and meets like her 1st spot in the World School victory – Gymnasium Morocco 2018, and 1st place at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
