Damage reported to old buildings

According to the latest reports coming out of the island of Lesvos, locals have of the town of Plomari have exited their houses for fear of collapse, while some old buildings have sustained damage. The tremor, which was measures at 6.1 on the Richter scale was felt in Athens and in Turkey. The vice-governor of Lesvos Efstratios Kytelis told protothema.gr he was informed that his holiday house located in the area of Vatera Stavrou had fallen.
