Conservative New Democracy (ND) leader Antonis Samaras appointed MEP Maria Spyraki as the new party spokesperson. Ms. Spyraki succeeds Anna Asimakopoulou who will be a candidate with ND in Athens. ND deputy Menelaos Daskalakis is now the new secretary of Strategic Planning and Communication, taking the place of Giorgos Koumoutsakos who will be a candidate for MP in the same constituency.
