The Greek Parliament is in a special celebratory session for the 70th anniversary of the incorporation of the Dodecanese into the the Greek state. The Greek PM Alexis Tsipras and the leader of major opposition party New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will deliver speeches in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos. The Greek parliament is expected to vote for the designation of 2017 as the year of Dodecanese.
