The “Day of the Apocalypse” is coming next week, when an asteroid will hit Earth, according to the most popular televangelist in the USA.
Pat Robertson claims through his broadcast that the end of the world is nigh and it may even come
next week.
His prophecies are included in a book entitled “The End of the Age”, published in 1995, in which he argues that the words of Jesus are confirmed and that our time is drawing to an end: an asteroid may hit the earth as soon as next week. However, he leaves open the possibility for the end of the world to be postponed…for about 1,000 years.
82-year old Robertson, who unsuccessfully campaigned to become the Republican Party’s nominee in the 1988 presidential election, is the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network and presenter of the popular television program “The 700 Club”. In one of his previous broadcasts, he even claimed that God warned him about an imminent major terrorist attack with devastating consequences in the second half of 2007. Four years ago, he was criticized worldwide for his call for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez assassination by the US Government and his claims that liberal judges are a greater threat to America than the terrorists of Al Qaeda.
