SYRIZA wants to cancel everything and “throw us in jail”, stated Evangelos Venizelos in an online interview, not wishing to cooperate with the opposition party.

Marc Poll: New Democracy at 30.4%, leading by 14.6 points; ELAS stalls at 15.8%, PASOK narrows gap to 3.4 points, Kasidiaris’ party at 4.2%

Commenting on the upcoming May elections, he assessed that PASOK will do better than expected in the European elections, and he showed no intention whatsoever that he would resign regardless of the result “they will challenge him, they will ask for his removal and for PASOK’s destruction, they will try to create a problem in the government and for the country to go to elections”, adding that such a stance will be a combination of stupidity and cynicism.

In an interview with “TheToc.gr”, PASOK’s leader mentioned George Papandreou noting that he was the architect of PASOK’s cooperation with the New Democracy and LAOS, in November 2011,  and reiterated that his problem with the attendance of the former PM during the presentation of Marilena Koppa’s book was not on any essential issues, but just aesthetic.

Finally, speaking about the economy, he assured that there will be no new measures or any new memorandum and that the country is steadily reaching the markets now, reiterating that public debt is absolutely sustainable.
