Prime Minister referred to the pathogenies of the past that kept Greece back to “anachronistic mentalities, distortions and offences, maintaining a false growth with borrowed money”. He referred to a “shell” that had been created around the country that did not allow it to forge ahead.
Mr Samaras continued saying that “this ‘shell’ is breaking now. And the great possibilities of the country and of our people are being freed”.
Focusing on the main opposition party, SYRIZA, Mr Samaras accused it of predicting that the government would not succeed and that it would be forced to new austerity measures.
Lastly, Prime Minister said that the dilemma of the European elections is stability or instability and pointed out that the only thing interesting SYRIZA is to immerse Greece in political instability again.
