SYRIZA believes that after the strong dilemmas posed by Evangelos Venizelos, “Elia or dissolution of the government”, Mr Antonis Samaras will also pose similar dilemmas judging by his latest fierce attacks towards SYRIZA.

Some members of the main opposition party said that they expect New Democracy to “present us as enemies of development and growth and friends with terrorists, this behavior is not a new one, he has used it for many years”. The party leadership expects that the Prime Minister will play the stability card. Therefore, he will keep on supporting that winning the elections means continuation of the country’s stability achieved so far.

However, it seems that SYRIZA worries about the international interventions following IMF’s recommendation for the need of political stability. It estimates that other similar interventions will follow, especially from Europe. Therefore, Alexis Tsipras rushed to state yesterday that SYRIZA is not eurosceptic, but other people are the enemies of Europe.

According to the latest opinion polls, SYRIZA is not affected by the statements and dilemmas posed by the leader of PASOK, Mr Evangelos Venizelos. On the contrary, the voting intention percentage in favor SYRIZA keeps rising and election analysts estimate that SYRIZA will reach or surpass 28% in the upcoming elections.
