The Dutch authorities announced that a forensic team consisting of 30 people from Netherlands will arrive today to the spot of the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 in eastern Ukraine.

According to the statement of the Dutch Ministry of Justice “the team is expected to arrive to the point at the end of the morning”  .
The Ministry also stated that the Dutch managed to gain access to the area after an agreement between the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the separatist rebels.

The Netherlands have been put in charge of the identification process of victims and the investigation conducted into the causes of the accident.

193 of the total 298 passengers of the Malaysians Airways Boeing, which apparently was shot down over the eastern Ukraine last week were Dutch.
