Independent Greeks leader: We have red lines on the conditions for a possible cooperation

Independent Greeks have an honest public proposal, Mr. Kammenos said

Newsroom September 29 03:06

Speaking to private ANT1 TV on Monday, Independent Greeks leader Panos Kammenos underlined that his party “does not negotiate its parliamentary seats,” adding that ANEL has “red lines” on the conditions for a possible cooperation with the government.

“Independent Greeks have an honest public proposal. We have presented this proposal from the first moment and we reiterate it now. We have some ‘red lines’ mainly in regard to our national issues. By no means will we participate in a government if they have not secure first the protection of the name “Macedonia” regarding the Fyrom name dispute, the protection of Thrace, that is being attacked by the Turkish Consulate and the Turkish policy, the resolution of the Cyprus issue and the Greek-Turkish relations. These are our ‘red lines’,” Mr. Kammenos noted.
