According to the General Secretary of Decentralized Administration of Attica Mr. Manolis Aggelakas, the demolition of 12 buildings will signal the removal operation of the Roma from the space behind the subway station “Nomismatokopio” in the area of Halandri.
On Monday Mr. Aggelakas met with the Mayor of Halandri and representatives of the Roma, in order to discuss their transfer to an appropriate area to accommodate their families, which has many facilities and that is legal.
On the other hand the Initiation of “United against Racism and Fascist Threat” calls for a demonstration at five in the morning.
