Wednesday morning, two men from Syria were arrested at the Heraklion airport for forgery of certificates.
More specifically, during a standard police check the two Syrian men aged 24 and 31 accordingly, presented fake travel documents, pretending to be the first from Poland and the second from Belgium, in order to leave the country.
The fake travel documents were seized, while the two men were arrested and led to the Misdemeanours Prosecutor of Heraklion.
