Next Sunday’s event will take place under the auspices of the President of the Republic.

According to representatives of the Athletics Federation, this year’s entries  reached 35,000 since the summer, while a further 5.000 remain on a waiting list.

As the  president of the Athletics Federation explained “We estimate that this year we will manage to raise about 35,000 euro for supporting people in need. The money from the Marathon race will be distributed to organizations and associations as appropriate”.

We have 2,200 volunteers  and our runners come from 102 countries”, said the President of the Athletics Federation.
