An unprecedented dust storm turned day into night in Queensland, Australia.
The town of Bedourie is located near Simpson Desert, and in the name of the Aborigines it actually means “dust storm”. Perhaps residents should have taken notes.
A town resident stated that such a phenomenon had never happened in the area. “Huge clouds of dust appeared in the horizon and covered everything for 90 minutes”, he said.
Meanwhile, in Brisbane, Queensland’s capital, is preparing to “receive” another violent storm of the same intensity as the one that recently caused damages worth 300 million USD.
