Savvas Bakartzief, the 27-year-old Bulgarian father accused of infanticide, is currently in jail following accusations that he killed his 4-year-old daughter, cut up her body, boiled the parts and threw it in the trash to get rid of the evidence. In a telephone conversation with private ALPHA TV from Corfu prison, he claimed that he did not kill Ani and that light will be shed on the issue once his friend Nikolai is found.
